Recognised by Veterans, Built by You
7.62mm is a UK-based, veteran-owned business creating self-assembly decorative military display model kits inspired by British service history.
We create them for veterans, serving personnel, and collectors who value craftsmanship, heritage, and thoughtful display. Proudly made in the UK, our kits are produced as static display pieces only. They are non-functional, cannot be adapted for use, and are designed purely for collection and presentation.
What we create
We produce 1:1 scale decorative military model kits inspired by historic British service equipment.
Each kit:
-
Is supplied in parts for self-assembly
-
Is 3D printed in durable PLA (a plant-based material)
-
Is designed for wall display only
-
Is non-operational and non-functional
These are display models, not toys, and are intended for adult collectors.
Our focus is craftsmanship and heritage presentation. Military model kits have a long and interesting history, as you can discover here.
Why “7.62mm”?
For those who recognise it, 7.62mm refers to a familiar historical measurement associated with service equipment of an earlier era. For others, it simply reads as what it is: a precise technical measurement.
Why Veteran-made Matters
Every model is produced by veterans who understand service life and the history behind the items that inspired our designs.
That lived perspective shapes how we approach:
-
Accuracy of proportion
-
Respectful presentation
-
Quality control
-
Responsible production
We are careful about what we make and how we describe it. We do not manufacture operational items, parts, or components. Our kits are intended to be assembled using dowels and adhesive we supply, minimal tools, lightly finished if required, and displayed as conversation pieces.
