L86 LSW

This 1:1 scale L86 LSW style display kit is a non-functional decorative piece inspired by the Light Support Weapon variant of the SA80 family used by British forces from the late 20th century onwards. Designed to provide sustained fire support within infantry sections, the L86 combined the familiar layout of the SA80 system with a longer barrel and bipod, giving it a distinctive profile and role on operations.
Although later replaced in many front-line roles, the L86 remains a recognisable part of recent British military history, particularly for those who served during its period of use.
